Nine Acres of Glass — walkthrough

Complete spoilers. Every puzzle, in order. If you only want a nudge, the hint page gives you one thing at a time.

Each entry is one command, in order, separated by slashes. Directions are abbreviated (n, se, u, d). This is the exact sequence the game's own test suite runs, so it is always current.

Act I — Opening Hours

schedule / ledger / w / read the proofs / claim the type / e
e / read the waybills / w / n / claim the ferns / n
ask rispin about the case / ask rispin about the clerk / n / claim the clock / s / s

The printing room first, because it is next to the door and it is the only place in England the Class 30 proofs exist. Then the waybills, then the two transept entries. Talking to Rispin is free and it is a third of the answer.

Act II — The Transept

schedule / ledger / n / ask rispin about the case / w / n
look behind the screen / s / u / read the jury minutes / claim the lifeboat / e
claim the instruments / d / claim the chair / n / claim the rope-walk / s
s / claim the eggs / n / w / w

Look behind the screen on the way past — it costs nothing — and read the jury minutes before Thursday. Then both galleries, then everything in the east end, in one loop.

Act III — The Galleries

schedule / ledger / n / w / claim the wool / n
look behind the screen / claim the albatross / claim the girl / claim 1140 / s / e
e / e / w

Twelve working actions. The wool bale is safe until next week, so it goes first only because it is on the way. claim 1140 is the act.

Act IV — The Crates

schedule / ledger / n / e / s / take a bar
n / n / pry the case / ask bewley about 1140 / s / e
ask nan about the rows / w / w / s

A bar from the loading ground, then twenty-two brass screws. If anything of yours went into the yard, hunt for its mark before Thursday — two, and not twenty.

Act V — The Frame

n / e / n / options / ask bewley about 1140 / ask bewley about the form
post the model and the papers

The walkthrough posts the model and the papers. post the model, enter the truth in the ledger and close it as unclaimed are the other three, and the last command is the only one that differs.
